DESCRIPTION:\nReimagining over twenty spectacular hits by the legendary musician Bob Dylan, ‘Girl from North Country’ (12A) sees a ramshackle cast of odd-ball characters forced under the same guesthouse roof!\nThis jukebox musical, premiering at ‘The Old Vic’, London in 2017, has run every year since all across the world from Australia to a home coming show in Minneapolis, Minnesota!\nTaking place during the Great Depression, this is a tale about perseverance, community and connection. It’s vast and varied cast struggle with all manner of life difficulties which are only exacerbated with the arrival of a storm, Marlowe (a bible salesman) and Joe Scott (a down-on-his-luck boxer).\nThe first Broadway run of ‘Girl from the North Country’ was shut down after just one week due to the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
