Will Garner, a 17 year old from Stretham, is completing a five day rowing challenge of 100km, to raise funds for NHS Charities Together, in support of their national response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

He is currently on day 4 of rowing and due to complete his challenge on Saturday he also has the support of Hills Road, where he currently studies.

So far he has raised £570 but he’d love to raise even more if he can.

Will said, ”I’m determined to do my bit for the NHS during lockdown.’

The club has named this Society our charity for the next six months.
Most of these funds were raised via our “Bacon Buttie” mornings held at the club on the second Monday of each month, all welcome to attend.
