Eco-crafting with Gill.

My fascination for ‘all things crafty’ started when I played with my Mums button box and trying to make dolls clothes on a toy sewing machine! Since then I have learnt to knit, make bobbin lace, rag rugs and crochet (among a few things) and completed a City & Guilds Embroidery and Textiles in the early 1990’s. I am always knitting and dress making, let alone all the other projects underway.
Now I am fascinated by using up my ‘stash’ and how to re purpose materials that may have gone to landfill into something meaningful and lovely. I still love to learn something new and enjoy helping others to let their imagination fly! Gill

During this session we are going to use lots of lovely scrap bits and pieces to create something new. Small pieces of beautiful lace, fabric, ribbon and buttons will be combined to create greetings cards, a wall hanging or a brooch. Using glue or simple hand stitching come and combine gorgeous snippets into something rather eco-fabulous! The cost of this workshop is £15 and includes all the learning support, materials and refreshments. Be eco-creative, turning waste things into great things – without costing the Earth. ♻️❤️🌏
