Mindfulness for Mid-Life
February 20 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Mid-life, whatever age you choose to attach to that, comes with its array of joys and challenges. Some of these include:
– Children getting married
– Ongoing career success
– ‘older and wiser’
– Increased financial security
– Knowing yourself well
– Sense of time speeding up
– Children leaving home
-Lack of purpose and role
-Elderly parents/caring for parents
If you would like to be experiencing more of a SENSE OF EASE, FOCUS and ABILITY TO BETTER HANDLE LIFE’S CHALLENGES at this time, then this 4-week course may be just for you.
In it, we will be exploring what mindfulness is (spending more time in the present moment rather than worrying about the future and/or regreting the past), the mind and body connection, creating new choices, managing conflict, noticing emotional triggers and how to better self-regulate; and practicing gratitude, Each week will consist of one or two meditations and times for reflection and sharing. We’ll have some fun too!
The price for 4 weeks, payable in advance, is £40 including a superb workbook which you can continue to work through after the four weeks (unless you/we decide to extend the course). It is recommended you attend all four sessions.
TO BOOK: Please either message me, phone on 07904 817941 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place, or to ask any questions. SPACES LIMITED TO 8 PEOPLE, so booking is essential.
