Experimental Watercolours

This workshop aims to help students paint more exciting, dynamic watercolours. Unleash your creativity and explore. We will work on a range of techniques to create texture in your paintings. You’ll need to be open-minded, experimental, and keen to have fun. We will use different additions to the medium, mark making tools and changes to the watercolour support. You will create your own examples to use as a springboard to painting more dynamic work in future. The day will end with you working on a landscape or floral painting from one of your own references or one of my photographs.
This workshop is suitable for all watercolourists, who have a sense of curiosity about the potential of experimental watercolour.

Workshops are taking place as part of the SEAW Selected Exhibition 2019 and are limited to just 6 people so be sure to book early.
Non-members £45. If you’re a Friends of the SEAW or a member, these workshops are only £35 each. (To become a Friend: https://eastanglianwatercolourists.co.uk/friends/)
