Enhanced rates paid for Saturday/Bank Holiday working
As Car Park Warden, you will assist with the enforcement of the Council’s Off-Street parking Places Order by patrolling the District’s car parks, maintaining accurate pocket book entries and issuing fixed penalty parking tickets, when appropriate.
You must be a confident communicator, with experience of dealing with members of the public in a calm, tactful and diplomatic manner You will also possess good administrative, organisational and numeracy skills and be able to offer a flexible approach to working hours. The hours associated with this post can be accommodated by either one full time person working 37 hours per week, or more than one person working on a part-time rota, providing cover within the team as required.
Shifts will be of varying lengths between the hours of 7.45am until 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
Uniform and protective clothing will be provided.
