Spotted in Ely welcomes Jenni and Claire to the team

Spotted in Ely keeps on growing – so we’re delighted to welcome two new team members on board.
With over 14,500 followers, Spotted in Ely is East Cambridgeshire’s most popular social media page.
Exercise junkie and chicken commercial star Jenni Homent is taking on the role of creative media executive while clay pigeon shooter and prawn eater Claire Giannandrea is our new graphic design manager.
Jenni describes herself as “married, two children and a puppy on the way”.

When she’s not attending JTS Fitness boot camps or looking after her children, Maisie, five and Josie, three, Jenni works as a book keeper.
Her mission in life is “to have fun every day, whatever I am doing”.
Former jobs include bar tending, stock taking, clothing buying – and modelling for a KFC advert.
“Chicken fillets have been my best friend ever since,” she confesses.
Meanwhile Claire’s claims to fame include formerly playing football for Burnley and England.
“I stubbed my toe when I was little and it’s healed on the bend – so I have a bent toe now!”
Claire
When she’s not eating prawns, Claire has a wealth of experience in marketing, corporate identity, brand positioning and brand building for companies including the Cambridge Arts Theatre, Ashwell Property Group, Green Energy Options and E4Education.
Jenni says: “I’m looking forward to meeting even more people of Ely and the surrounding villages through working at SiE. Let the fun commence… say hi if you see me out and about!”
Jenni and Claire will be joining Mark Cooney (creator), Alison Powell (events), Tali Iserles (newsdesk) and Daniel Rigby (sales and marketing).
Mark said: “Spotted in Ely continues to grow so fast that we’ve had to look at how best to keep up with its success.
“Claire and Jenni have come along at the right time. Claire’s knowledge of customer experience and corporate appearance will bring SiE onto the serious playing field as the leading media source for Ely. Jenni’s ability to seek out new opportunities and consider the business aspect will bring new projects to the fore, enhancing the website.
“I cannot show enough how grateful I am to all of the team for their ongoing commitment and really look forward to working closely with everyone.”
