Well Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I can’t tell you what a great time we all had on Saturday in the Children in Need Show.
What a journey, from that very first day of asking Abi to be the star of a show to being the last one to walk out the front door of the PAC when it was all over, it was just incredible.
So thank you to all the performers, the singers Abi, Tanisha, Molly, Jude, and Angela, the band walking sideways Reece; Kia, Nick and Isaac and of course the fabulous Freckenham Dancers and not forgetting all the guys n girls behind the scenes Callum our sound and light man who flew the desk, Pauline and Mike who looked after everyone and everything in the foyer and of course our Stage manager Mr James Woods thank you so much for all the hard work and valuable time you’ve given over the past weeks, it was as promised a thoroughly entertaining evening with a bucket load of variety, I know all us performers enjoyed doing the show and I really hope all those who attended enjoyed it too.
So it’s now I have the pleasure of announcing the amount of money you all helped to raise, and I’m delighted to tell you that after expenses the total is £1250:00.
That is a tidy sum and a nice reward for everybody’s effort, thank you James and Alison for coming, thank you to our ‘Strong Soham Mums’ thank you Scott for the ‘food run’ and for Ed donating that wonderful print and of course thank you for all of you that attended you made it a memorable evening for many of us.
