On Thursday 26th January 2023 we will be opening a Drop in Centre at Ely Library to be run every Thursday from 0900-1300.
This will be open to all members of the Armed Services, Veterans and their families.
The aim of the Drop In Centre is to have a place for all service personnel and their families to come and have a brew and a chat with like minded people, and if help is required we will endeavour to signpost them to the right organisation.
We are being assisted by East Cambs District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council, and have local charities and businesses on board.
We are a nonprofit making and volunteer run organisation and would like to thank Good Vibes Local / Spotted in Ely and Twenty Pence Garden Centre for their generous help in getting the project up and running. We recently received a grant from Good Vibes Local CIC of £100 from their Great Little Giveaway.
All our volunteers are ex-military and are members of Ely Armed Forces And Veterans Breakfast Club.
