Wand making, potion brewing and natural art were all the rage at Fenland Pixies and Fairies today.
The magical, sell-out event, hosted by Wicken Fen Nature Reserve, also included making beautiful head-dresses and planting wildflower seeds in decorated pots alongside fairies made out of clay.
It was part of a range of children’s summer activities at England’s oldest nature reserve, including pond dipping and mini beast hunting, den building, insect spotting, story telling – and for the mucky pups, a “Mud, Glorious Mud” special!
Wicken Fen hosts a range of activities throughout the year, most of which need to be booked in advance. For more information click here.
