Ely’s Victoria Badminton Club perform above expectation at the Cambridgeshire’s Best of Best Tournament.
Ely’s James Wilson teamed up with ex member Sara Cunnington to take the mixed doubles title, beating our own Neil Place (partnering Hannah Sharman) in the final.
In the Mens Doubles James Wilson and partner Campbell Wilson (From Comberton) beat last years Champions, Neil Place and Abu Kaher (Hurst) in the final.
Neil Place also took runner up in the men’s single plate event.
The even took place in Swavesey (This Saturday and Sunday) Singles Saturday, mixed and level doubles Sunday.
