Queen of Cakes, Mary Berry CBE came to visit Ely today promoting her new book “Foolproof Cooking” through local booksellers Toppings.
The audience packed into St Mary’s Church and then a special signing took place. Tickets for the event sold all 250 tickets within 12 hours of going on sale but people where invited to signing ceremony afterwards to which a further 300 attended.
Great British Bake Off star has produced over 70 books in a career spanning over 40 years.
Overall today she signed over 1,000 copies both in Ely and in Norwich this morning.
