Haddenham’s putting its name on the festival map with its first ever Bead Festival planned for this month.
But rather than throwing your hands in the air, you’ll be needing them to make pretty keepsakes instead!
Spoilt Rotten Beads is holding its first ever Bead Festival on Saturday May 21 – with lots of beady fun planned.
It’s not just Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, V and other music festivals that draw in the wellies – the organisers of Spoilt Rotten’s Bead Festival are calling on festival goers to don their gumboots, with each welly-wearer promised a free gift with their shopping. The wackiest welly wearer will win a prize!
There will be workshops and demonstrations planned, such as learning to make a Mardi Gras brick stitch bracelet with Dizzy Di or micro macrame wraps and bridal headdresses with Jo Barclay Loggie. Booking is essential.
In addition, there will be lots of games and opportunities to win prizes or get a temporary henna tattoo. And of course, beads! Beautiful, glorious beads…
Bead Festival takes place from 9am to 5pm at Spoilt Rotten Beads, 7 The Green, Haddenham.
