Council owned Paradise Leisure Centre today celebrates 30 years of being open.
Opened in 1986 by Northern Ireland international Pat Jennings the leisure centre has become a hub for many sporting activities with a main hall, squash courts, training gym and dance studio.
The centre is expected to remain open for the foreseeable future despite a new council owned leisure centre being built on the outskirts of town.
With even more news, the centre announced this that no price increase for use of the facility will take place in 2016.
