Ely City U18s will be hosting their annual Charity Fixture on Tuesday 18th May.
Subject to Government Covid Roadmap guidance, entry for spectators will be by donation only.
This year Ely City Youth’s chosen Charity is Headway.
Headway Cambridgeshire provides specialist services and support to people with an acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions and their families across the county.
Brain injury can affect anyone, at any time and Headway Cambridgeshire an autonomous charity, supports individuals and their families through these life-changing events, treating clients as individuals and building a bespoke service to meet their needs and aspirations.
Their support covers Cambridgeshire or Peterborough, at one of our hubs, in the community or at home.
This is the second Unwin Trophy Match. The new trophy was purchased and presented to Ely City Youth by Mark Cooney back in 2019, pictured below with Ross Elliott, Ely City Youth coach.
The annual event, which didn’t take place last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, raised £560 for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in 2019.
