Ely Community Events Team Bring November 5th Fireworks Event Back to Cherry Hill Park

Ely Community Events Team (ECET) are pleased to confirm details for the return of  the annual fireworks evening at Cherry Hill, Ely, which will this year take place on Saturday 5th November.

As before, admission will be from 4-30 onwards, with bonfire lit at 6-30 and the display itself to begin at 7 pm.

This event is being organised to mark our return after two years of absence due to Covid, and we look forward to welcoming everyone along.

The evening will include our usual Guy competition and all of the usual accompanying attractions, including fairground rides, on the night.

Both primary schools, and youth groups for those aged  under-11, are invited to enter Guys, with cash prizes for the winners.

We have also this year invited an increased and excellent range of hot food suppliers, all locally based, comprising Grab a Burger, Gino’s Pizza, Cambridge Somoza and Mediterranean Falafel.

Advance tickets, priced at £8 per adult, £4 per child (under 16), and £20 per family ticket (two adults and two children) will be on sale from 4th October from the following outlets:-

Ely Tourist Information Centre, 29 St Mary’s Street, Ely

Hive Leisure Centre, Leisure Village, Ely

Ely Fudge Company, 31 Market Place, Ely

Toppings Bookshop, 9 High Street, Ely

Atrium Fitness, 39 Newnham Street, Ely

Littleport Bargain Centre, 9 Main Street, Littleport

Soham Books, 38 High Street, Soham

Please note that payment at both Hive Leisure Centre and Ely Fudge will be by card only, and by cash only at all other outlets.

In addition, there will be an online/phone sales facility available at Ely Tourist Information, with postage provided, subject to a standard fee of £2-50 per transaction. For this facility, please access www.visitely.org.uk

Subject to capacity, there will be limited entry on the night – at £10 per adult, £5 per child.  However, in view of the huge demand which is expected, we recommend you get your tickets as soon as possible, and arrive early so to enjoy both the food outlets and other attractions and entertainment leading up to what will be a fabulous display.

All monies raised will, as always, be made available for distribution to local charities and good causes. We will be notifying the arrangements by which requests for donations can be made, very soon after 5th November.

Please keep checking the ECET Facebook page facebook.com/fireworksely for all further information between now and 5nd November .We look forward to seeing you all there on the night!
