Ely foodies now have a new takeaway option with the news that vegan chef and food
blogger Mandy Mazliah is bringing her plant-based food to Ely. Mandy’s new business,
Sneaky Veg Kitchen, will offer its first meal delivery service on Friday 22 November, with
further dates to follow soon.
Already a successful brand and food blog packed with recipes, Sneaky Veg is now entering
a new era, offering delicious plant-based food in Ely.
After several successful plant-based supper clubs and a sell-out stall at Ely Apple Fayre last
month, Mandy is now offering a dinner delivery service, which will bring supperclub-quality
food directly to your door.
Mandy says: “With more and more people aware of the environmental benefits of reducing
their meat and dairy intake, I’m excited to be bringing my cooking to Ely. I am passionate
about showing everyone how delicious plant-based food can be. I prioritise using fresh fruit
and veg, pulses and wholegrains and take inspiration from around the world with my
cooking. Whether I’m making colourful salad boxes for a summer market, a plant-based
shawarma for a takeaway dinner at home or a three-course sit-down supperclub, I’m
confident that you’ll love my food. I look forward to cooking for you soon.”
The next dinner delivery will be a Mediterranean-inspired meal with chickpea shawarma,
harissa cauliflower, spanakorizo (smoky spinach rice), Lebanese-style spicy potatoes with
salad and hummus.

Mandy, who worked in Cambridge and London as a community chef and cookery teacher
before relocating to Ely, is also available to hire as a private chef and offers plant-based
cookery classes for anyone who would like to learn how to cook with plants.
