Ely Shotokan Karate Club is a welcoming and family-oriented martial arts club based in Witchford, Cambridgeshire. Ely Shotokan Karate Club teaches Shotokan Karate, a disciplined and powerful style of martial arts that focuses on technique, respect, and personal development. Affiliated with the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB)—the UK’s largest single-style martial arts association—Ely Shotokan Karate Club has been running for over 10 years. All instructors are DBS certified and KUGB-qualified, and the club follows a robust safeguarding policy to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Classes are held at Witchford Village Hall, Bedwell Hey Lane, Witchford, CB6 2JN.
Tuesdays:
Beginners: 6:30–7:30 PM
Higher grades: 7:30–8:30 PM
Thursdays:
Beginners: 7:00–8:00 PM
Higher grades: 8:00–9:00 PM
The club is open to beginners and returning students. Children from the age of 6 up to adults in their 50s and beyond are welcome. No previous experience is needed, and your first four taster sessions are free!
After the free sessions, training costs are £2.50 per session for children and £5.00 for adults. A yearly licence fee is required (£27 for children and £33 for adults), which includes insurance. For the first few sessions, students can train in a T-shirt and jogging bottoms—no special equipment is needed to get started.
