20 students and staff from Ely College Sixth Form will be travelling to the slum area of Kenya called Nakuru in October. They will be working alongside other teachers and students at the African Adventures Foundation school.
Their mission to help build and decorate new classrooms, run multi-sport programmes, as well as cook and feed young children in the area.
In order to take part, each participant must raise in excess of ยฃ1500. They have started raising money but have further to go and they start with a car boot sale on Saturday 23rd August at Little Downham Village Hall from 11am.

The students will be raising other funds on the day with refreshments. Donations of cakes are welcome
