On Thursday evening, 22nd June, 1094 (City of Ely) Squadron enrolled its latest intake of recruits. Twenty cadets were enrolled in a ceremony conducted by the Squadron and Wing Padre, The Reverend Allan Jesson, witnessed by the cadet’s proud parents and other family members.
Our Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant J Donoghue RAFAC, delivered the commencement speech to the new cadets on officially beginning their air cadet experience.
He reminded them that the length of their adventure and the path they choose to take would be down to them. Only their effort and determination would dictate how enjoyable, valuable and inspirational their time in service would be.
