Heidi Talbot & Boo Hewerdine at Ely Bowls Club
One of our festival patrons, the wonderful Boo Hewerdine, will be joining the equally wonderful Heidi Talbot for what will be a rather splendid evening at City of Ely Bowls Club.
Heidi Talbot won Composer of the Year at the Scottish Trad Music Awards in 2023, has been described as “simply vocal heaven” by The Sunday Times and from her membership of Cherish The Ladies to her lauded solo career has produced, quite simply, outstanding music.
Boo Hewerdine is one of the finest songwriters working in the UK, from his time in cult heroes The Bible via his extensive work with Eddi Reader (including writing ‘Patience of Angels’), to composing contemporary classics like ‘Harvest Gypsies’.
