Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost
This March Ely ADS is bringing a fresh twist to William Shakespeare’s comedy Love’s Labour’s Lost to The Maltings, Ely!
At the court of Navarre, the Queen and her friends take an oath to dedicate themselves to a life of study and avoid the company of men for three years. No sooner have they made their idealistic pledge than the Prince of France and his men arrive on a diplomatic mission, presenting the women with a test of their high-minded resolve. Will the women resist temptation, or will love win out?
