Wild Roots

Join local storyteller Marianne Powell and artist Lizzie Ault of Tales from the Fen for Wild Roots, a night of stories and sketching at Babylon Gallery, Ely on Thursday 26th June from 7-9pm.

Draw, doodle and sketch at your own pace while Marianne’s tales inspire you.

Lizzie will be on hand with prompts and ideas to get your creativity flowing. No experience is needed and you could even use the time to write a poem, song or story of your own – see where inspiration takes you.

Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own sketchbook if you prefer.

Seasonal refreshments will be available from Sneaky Veg Kitchen including:

* cherry frangipane bites
* lemon and elderflower muffins
* garlic and herb scones
* crostini with broad bean dip
