A team of 40 swimmers attended the Newmarket September Swim Meet on Sunday 25th September achieving impressive results with numerous medals and personal best times across the team.
The superb swimming saw Ely placed as the Top visiting team and our Junior Club Captain Jacob Schultz was also top boy at the competition.
Special mention also goes to some of our youngest swimmers who were competing at an Open Meet for the very first time – congratulations to Peony Jackson ( 3 Gold, 1 Silver), James Clarke ( 3 bronze), Eryn Pashley ( 1 Bronze), and Kitty Sanders-Hewett (PB).
The whole team performed well with all swimmers achieving medals and/or personal best times setting them up for the season ahead.
