Brian Bignell was a freelance photographer in the early 1960s and took pictures of musicians on their way to stardom.
Now residing in Ely, Brian certainly has some extraordinary photos, taken by him as he joined some of the most famous musicians in the world on their tours and gigs.
Many, which are unpublished, are one-offs and every single image has a story to tell. The collection of original work includes black and white images of the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who and The Small Faces.
Brian quotes, “It was quite an amazing time and I never thought it was going to end – I thought it was going to go on and on, but every chapter does close at some stage.”
