Going to university and having to manage your own finances can be a worrying experience. Ely Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Counselling Centre are helping local students by offering a free, practical course which puts students in control of their finances while they are at college or university.
The Ely CAP Team have been running the regular CAP Money Course over the last three years and in April opened the debt counselling centre which is based at St Mary’s Church, Ely. Following on from this success Julia Fletcher, a CAP trained Money Coach and sixth form teacher, is leading the CAP Money Students Course in Ely.
The CAP Money Students Course is running on Tuesday 5th September 7.30pm – 9.45pm at St Mary’s Church, Ely. To book a place please e-mail Julia at elycap@stmarysely.org.
The next regular money course will be held on 25th September, 2nd and 16th October from 7.30-9.30pm at the Countess Free Church Ely. Places can be booked through www.capuk.org or by e-mailing the address above.
