Spotted in Ely celebrated its 10th birthday back in August 2023 and as part of the celebrations the Trustees of Good Vibes Local (GVL) decided to launch a second Great Little Giveaway for local organisations, but this time offering grants of £200 with the criteria of healthy lifestyles.
The Giveaway was promoted throughout August and September. Many applications were received and the Trustees had to decide who to choose. This year eight local organisations were all awarded £200 each.
Chair, Ruth Buckley said, “As a non-profit organisation, Good Vibes Local CIC are delighted to be able to give back to these organisations that do some amazing work in our community.”
Director, Alison Cooney said, “This is our second Giveaway and I’m incredibly proud that GVL is able to give something back to the community and the people of Ely. Thank you to those organisations locally that promote their vacancies through us, they are all part of this process.”
The Trustees are delighted to announce the recipients are:
Haddenham, Wilburton & Aldreth Community First Responder Group
Cambridgeshire Expressive Arts and Counselling Centre C.I.C (CEAACC)
Isle of Ely School of Irish Dancing
Caring Together Charity
Voluntary and Community Action East Cambs
