At St John Ambulance we believe everyone should get the chance to learn how to save a life, so that whenever a first aid emergency occurs, whether in the home, workplace or community, someone is on hand with the skills to help.
Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.
First aid is such a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact.
We want everyone to learn it, so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
However if First aid is not for you we have many other roles.
We meet every other Wednesday 8pm – 9.30pm, new joiners are welcome to attend for a few weeks to see if they like it before joining for more information you can go to https://volunteering.sja.org.uk/
