In December 2022 we received £100 from the Good Vibes Local Great Little Giveaway to help towards the setting up of an Armed Forces & Veterans Drop in centre at Ely Library as an extension to the already established ElyAFVBC.
We opened up on 26th January and has been a great success. We have had approx 200 people visit in the last 10 weeks.
The reason for the Drop in centre is to reach out to the military community with somewhere to go for a bit of a chat and a brew and we signpost anyone to wherever they need help.
We have had great help from East Cambs District Council and Cambridge County Council and many other Veterans Charities.
