GVL Great Little Giveaway: The Expert on Myself

‘Helping People Speak and Organisations Listen’

The Expert on Myself (TEOM) CIC is a new Community Interest Company, formed in April 2021 by Niki, Lisette, Caitlin and Meg, all of whom have experience of living and working with disabilities and health needs. Earlier this year we were joined by Anna and Jade-Anne to complete our TEOM team.

TEOM is delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Good Vibes Local Giveaway. We have used the grant to purchase a banner, this will help us to promote what we do at events and help us to connect with more local people and communities.

One of our latest projects is working with young people with Autism. Together we will produce a training package which will support local organisations throughout Cambridgeshire to work with and include more people with neurodiversity.

We want to work with, and are interested to hear from people who have lived experience of disabilities, physical or mental health, using their expertise to help us inform organisations and professionals how best to include these insights into their working practices.

We work with communities and organisations to help them be more inclusive, accessible and support the people who work for them, or use their services.
