Haddenham Beer Festival donates £12,000 to local good causes

Haddenham Beer Festival donates £12,000 to local good causes at thank-you event in The Barn, Haddenham
Members of the Haddenham Beer Festival committee and major sponsors gathered at The Barn in Haddenham on Tuesday evening to present donations from the proceeds of this year’s festival to a number of local beneficiaries.
The festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary over the last weekend in June, with fantastic live music, plenty of food and drink, and lots of family entertainment. More than 2,000 visitors enjoyed the party atmosphere at an event which has become a much-anticipated fixture in the Haddenham calendar.
Over the past decade, the festival has raised more than £100,000 for good causes, with £12,000 being donated this year.
This year’s main beneficiary was Branching Out, a wonderful charity based in Littleport supporting adults with learning disabilities. The donation has helped them to buy a minibus, enabling trips to new and exciting places!
Many other donations were made to local groups to help support their activities, and the committee is delighted to continue making a positive impact on the community in this way.
The festival will return on 26–28 June 2026, and the committee are already hard at work planning an even bigger and better event for everyone.
If you’d like to get involved and volunteer over the weekend (our volunteers have lots of fun!), are interested in sponsoring next year’s event, or are part of an organisation which would benefit from a donation from next year’s Haddenham Beer Festival, please contact the festival at info@haddenham.beer
Finally, the committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our 2025 sponsors once again, and in particular – CD Hood, David Clarke & Company, Hockeys, Manchetts, Oakes & Watson, Sid Bibby, Team Sprayers and Tesco.
