The Etheldreda Craft and Food Fair will take place on Saturday 1st June across Palace and Cross Greens, surrounded by the splendour of the Cathedral and The Old Palace, two of Ely’s most magnificent historic buildings.
The fair is an entertaining day out for the whole family, showcasing a selection of over 50 tempting stalls featuring local crafts, foods, jewellery and gifts.
In keeping with the tradition of this country fair, visitors will have the opportunity to try their luck with the raffle or tombola. Or they can sit back and enjoy the amazing surroundings with a glass of champagne or Pimm’s and a bowl of strawberries and cream.
Organised by a committee of chorister parents, all profits from the fair will go towards sending the Ely Cathedral boy choristers on tour to Northern Germany in May 2025.
Chair of the Ely Cathedral Boys Choir Tour Fund, Rebekah Mellor-Read, said, “The Etheldreda Craft and Food Fair is a real highlight of our fundraising year. Falling at the end of the half-term holiday, it’s a fun-filled day out for all ages. With over 50 stalls to choose from, there really is something for everyone.”
