Hijacked Hollies come to The Maltings in October

On Sunday, 8th October, The Hijacked Hollies will be performing the UK’s only authentic tribute to pop legends, The Hollies at The Maltings in Ely.

Profits from the show are being donated to the East Anglian Air Ambulance in support of the wonderful life-saving work they do.

As one of the 60s and 70s most iconic British bands, The Hollies continue to sell out UK & European tours today. A total of over 30 chart hits, including 19 Top 20 hits, 17 of which were Top 10 and 2 No.1s makes them one of the most successful bands of their time, both in the UK, the US as part of the “British Invasion” and beyond. In addition to their world-wide No.1 hit, ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother‘, there are so many other songs  – ‘Just One Look’, ‘Bus Stop’, ‘The Air That IBreathe‘ – the list goes on. Their place in music history was recognised in 2010 when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by the E Street Band’s Steve Van Zandt. A back catalogue and legacy like this guarantees a hit-packed evening.

The Hijacked Hollies play theatres, Holiday Park Sixties weekends, Butlin’s Sixties-themed weekends, Warner Leisure Hotels, clubs and private functions around the country from Cornwall to Carlisle.
