Your game. Your story. Keep playing.

10is Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tennis Instructor (LTA Level 2 or ex-PE teacher) to join our friendly, family-focused club in Ely. You’ll deliver high-quality on-court coaching to juniors and adults, helping players of all ages and abilities develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
We provide structured lesson plans and a clear coaching framework based on our Spanish/Italian-inspired philosophy, so you’ll have strong guidance and support while still having room to bring your own personality to sessions.

Key Responsibilities
– Plan and deliver engaging tennis sessions using our provided lesson plans and coaching framework
– Adapt sessions to different ages and ability levels (juniors and/or adults)
– Provide clear, constructive technical and tactical feedback to help players improve
– Organise drills, matchplay, and games that build teamwork, resilience, and tactical understanding
– Track player progress and communicate development clearly to players and, where relevant, parents/guardians
– Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a positive, inclusive atmosphere on and off the court
– Ensure player safety and welfare at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
– Support club events, internal competitions, and community outreach activities when required.

Requirements
– EITHER: LTA Level 2 Tennis Coach (or working towards Level 2 with strong experience), OR
– Qualified ex-PE teacher with good racket sport/tennis experience and willingness to follow our coaching framework
– Proven experience coaching children and/or adults in a school, club, or sports setting
– Good understanding of tennis technique and tactics (we can support tennis-specific development for ex-PE teachers)
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, encourage, and build rapport
– Strong organisational skills to manage groups and sessions effectively
– Willingness to work evenings and weekends in line with the coaching programme (Sundays and Mondays off)
– Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe, supportive environment for all players
– Genuine passion for sport, player development, and helping people enjoy being active

This role is ideal for an LTA Level 2 coach or ex-PE teacher who wants clear structure (lesson plans and framework provided), cares about long-term player development, and wants to be part of a growing, values-driven tennis academy.
