
Ely Cathedral
17.5 hours per week, days and times are flexible, some evening and weekend working will be required
Salary £21,000 (FTE)
An exciting opportunity exists to enable the work of The Friends of Ely Cathedral, an independent charity and membership organisation (with about 2,000 members) which supports the work of Ely Cathedral.
The role includes organising the day-to-day administration and operation of the Friends’ Office as well as recruiting new Friends and organising a programme of events together with the production and sale of literature and merchandise.
The successful candidate will be fully supportive of the Cathedral’s mission statement as well as self-motivated, proactive, a good communicator and should be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. They should be compassionate, enthusiastic and able to work both independently and as part of a team in partnership with volunteers, Cathedral staff and external agencies.
Exact working days will be agreed with the successful candidate. A start date of September 2025 is anticipated.
