Car Park Warden

East Cambridgeshire District Council

You will assist with the enforcement of the Council’s Off-Street parking Places Order, patrolling the District’s car parks, maintaining accurate pocket book entries and issuing fixed penalty parking tickets, when appropriate.  

You must be a confident communicator; with experience of dealing with members of the public in a calm, tactful and diplomatic manner. You will also possess good administrative, organisational and basic numeracy skills.  

There are no fixed or minimum hours associated with this post and you will be required to work to provide cover within the team, as and when required.  Shifts would be of varying lengths between the hours of 7.30am until 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

Uniform and protective clothing will be provided.
