Community Safety and Project Support Officer

This post is funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) as part of it’s Putting Communities First initiative.

The Council is looking for an enthusiastic Community Safety and Project Support Officer, the post holder will coordinate the efforts of East Cambs.
Community Safety Partnership (ECCSP) agencies to deliver local problem solving to address local community level crime and disorder issues which matter most to people who live and work in the area, as set out in the Crime and Disorder Reduction Grant Agreement.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with a range of external organisations to deliver successful outcomes and will have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to maintain good working relationships and deliver information to a range
of audiences.
The postholder will possess knowledge of crime and disorder and anti-social behaviour issues and their impacts on communities.

This is a fixed term post until 31st March 2027 and is full time (37 hours per week).
