Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our automotive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge.
Identify and advise on necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and industry standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle condition and required work.
Support the workshop team as required to meet workload demands.
Requirements
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Proven experience in vehicle diagnosis, servicing, and repair.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience using diagnostic tools and modern vehicle systems.
Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles.
Basic IT skills for updating digital records.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
Saturday, 8:00am–12:00 noon
