PLANNING SUPPORT OFFICER
£17,681 to £21,693 p.a., plus benefits 

In this post you will provide administrative and procedural support for the department. Duties will include the processing of planning applications from submission to decision following set procedures and within agreed timescales using ICT systems. You will liaise with the applicant or their agent regarding any anomalies, provide assistance to officers and customers, responding to enquiries generally, and maintain departmental records in order to provide statistical information for monitoring/research purposes. 

You will need to have 3 GCSEs (to include English and Maths) or equivalent work experience, possess strong communication, administrative, organisational and time/workload management skills and be able to demonstrate relevant experience within a customer service environment. 

Hours of work are 37 per week, worked 8.45 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.30 pm Friday.
