Learn Archery with the Witchford Archers

Witchford Archers are happy to announce that they’ll once again be running regular beginners classes.
While we’re small in comparison to other clubs we’ve got a significant history of winning medals and we’re now once again able to run beginners courses. We had issues last year in regards to a permanent venue, but we’ve now settled in The Royal British Legion in Sutton during the Winter. So why not let our dedicated team coaches (both experienced and trainee) introduce you to this fascinating sport and help you on the way to becoming the Katniss Everdeen or Robin Hood you always knew you were.
Our first course kicks off on the 6th of March 2018, and there are still a couple of places left, but if we’ve filled them by the time you apply; never fear because we’ll be running courses throughout the coming year. The course will run for four consecutive weeks and lasts 2 hours a session, starting at 8 PM. The price is £10.00 per session, and all equipment is provided.
As well as coaching you’ll also have the opportunity to meet other members of the club so that you’ll not be confronted with too many unfamiliar faces if (we hope “when”) you join us. We are a friendly bunch, and you’re sure to get a warm welcome.
