Awards to recognise the service of local communities and individuals who helped during the pandemic
Lucy Frazer MP, for South East Cambridgeshire has launched the COVID Community Champion Awards.
Recognising the fantastic efforts of people across the county who have gone and beyond to help others, Lucy is encouraging constituents to nominate individuals and groups who have provided support and voluntary services during the pandemic.
Constituents are encouraged to nominate a local individual by emailing Lucy at lucy.frazer.mp@parliament.uk with:
- Nominator name
- Nominator address
- Nominator email
- Name and contact email of the COVID Community Champion Award nominee
- Reasons why they are nominating them
Lucy said: “From collecting medication and groceries, to looking out for elderly neighbours, or volunteering or supporting the NHS – there are many stories of support that have taken place across our local communities during the pandemic. I am keen to spotlight the stories of those who have gone and above and beyond during this tough time for our area and country. The winners invited to a special reception in Parliament in December.”
The deadline for nominations closes on the 30th September.
