Ely City Ladies 1s won 4-0 at home against Royston. Ely managed to dominate play despite Royston’s relentless efforts. Goal scorers were Gemma Mott (1), Ali Woods (1), Pam Clarke (1) and Jo Rayner (1), player of the match went to Gemma Mott.
The Ladies 2s continued their unbeaten streak in style with a 4-0 win at home against Sudbury 3s. The first half provided Ely with numerous goal scoring opportunities, all denied by an excellent Sudbury goalkeeper. Ely finally scored their first goal moments before half time. The second half provided Ely with much of the same, scoring a further 3 goals to solidify an impressive run of winning every game this season. Goal scorers were Xenia Marshall (3) and Evie Flack (1). Player for the match went to Karen Covey for excellent attacking play out of the defence.
Ely City Mens 2s won 7-3 against St Neots 4s and the Mens 3s lost 8-0 in a difficult match against Kettering 4s.
