New Cadets Enrolled at 1094 Ely Squadron

On Friday night at Ely Squadron we welcomed 24 new recruits into The Air Training Corps family when we enrolled 24 out of the 28 junior cadets of Tutor Flight.

Having completed phase 1 of their basic training the cadets were enrolled by The Squadron Padre The Reverend Alan Jesson with Ely Squadron’s Commanding Officer Flight Lieutenant J Donoghue RAFAC and Mr David Martin the Chair of The Ely Branch of The Royal British Legion addressing the assembled parents of our latest intake of new recruits.

The Squadron plans to enrol the remaining 4 new recruits next week as they were absent due to school commitments.

With over 30 other potential recruits on our waiting list ready to join the only thing stopping the Squadron expanding further are the Covid19 restrictions on indoor social distancing.

Welcome to The Corps and the start of many adventures
