New Liberty Belle Owners

Meet Jo and Andy Pearson, the new owners of Ely’s micropub The Liberty Belle.
Jo will be running the day to day matters of the establishment. When asked Andy said, “Jo is running the pub, I’ll be Chief Taster. But in all seriousness, the ethos of the pub will not change and will be kept in the same spirit as Martin ran it”
Martin McKeever is moving to the Orkney Islands where he plans to set up another Liberty Belle. Andy continued to say “Martin has been a real asset for Ely with his micropub idea which was a talking point when it first opened. He will be missed but we wish him well in Scotland on his new venture.
“We are going to need a few weeks to get ourselves familiar with everything but an opening night is on the cards at some point towards the end of July.”
