New petrol due to open at end of August

A new petrol station at Sainsbury’s superstore due to open in Ely at the end of August.

A spokeswoman said the site, which is currently under construction, would be unmanned and would contain three petrol pumps.
As it’s a “small format store” there would not be a car wash facility included, she said.

The projected opening date is August 31.
