Pay it Forward Day 2023

On Saturday 4th February, we held our second Pay it Forward Day.

It’s become our opportunity to give something back to the community of Ely.

Vouchers for the café Marmalade and Jam and Silver Oak Coffee were left around Ely, along with bunches of daffodils and candles, all with a keepsake hearts attached to them.

Local businesses and friends of Spotted in Ely joined in with the day. So we’d personally like to thank…

Marmalade and Jam cafe
Silver Oak Coffee
The Secret Yarn Bomber
Tasty Treats
Veronica in the Fens
Rose Barn Loves
Ely Outdoor Sports Association
Paw It Forward
Handmade by Lory
Crafty Corner

There were further Random Acts of Kindness in the city from flowers being left around the city and crocheted hearts.

If you were lucky enough to find one of or be a recipient of our Pay it Forward Day in any way then we hope you enjoyed the treat!

Alison Cooney said, “I’m hoping that the day will grow and grow into something that more and more people will want to be involved with”.
