Ely PCSO’s and cadets were out in force on Saturday with a stall on the Market Place to offer anyone and everyone free advice on Crime Prevention.
Anything from looking after your home to property you carry about. From personal safety to road offences. Anything and everything was offered with leaflets and who to contact if you are concerned about anything.
Using Cadets allows them first hand knowledge from veteran PCSO’s and PCSO Matt Chennell, The Neighbourhood Policing Office for the City Centre of Ely along with Special Sergeant Andrew Lawrence was there to help them connect with the visitors and locals of Ely.
Joseph Dockerill and Jonty Woodbridge from Soham Cadets manned the stall all day and learned valuable knowledge they can use for future assistance.
