Kind-hearted kids from The Lantern Community Primary School were pretty in pink on Friday to raise funds for the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
Classes in years four to six at the Ely school donned a stunning array of pink garments, with some even dying their hair in different shades.
Youngsters taking part in the Wear It Pink day were asked for a £1 donation each, which would go towards helping people with breast cancer.
Every year, Wear It Pink raises around £2 million nationwide during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
This is the first time the Lantern School has taken part.
