We have recently celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Opening of Jubilee Gardens and several friends have got together to plan a relaunch of the Friends of Jubilee Gardens in this very special year, marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
We would like to invite everyone who enjoys the gardens to come to our relaunch on Thursday. 21st April in the Methodist Church meeting room in Chapel Street, Ely at 5pm.
We hope that you will either become a Friend or renew your membership. It is anticipated that the annual subscription will remain at £5 but if you could spare a little more as a donation we would be most grateful.
This entitles you to receive an online newsletter and to support the voluntary working parties which we hope will continue to make their invaluable contribution to the enhancement of the gardens.
It is vitally important that we show our appreciation of the Gardens and strengthen the link with the owners, East Cambridgeshire District Council, so please do come to this special event.
