Ely Rotary Club is pleased to announce that it has fixed a date for their first Big Band Show after a four-year break, mainly due to Covid.
The motto is to “blow away the cobwebs” and enjoy the moment again! All those fabulous Glenn Miller big hits and lots lots more will hopefully spring back into life at the Ely Community College hall on 12th of February 2022, in time for Valentine’s Night. How wonderful to again feel the intensity of live music from Opus 17 nostalgically returning to 1944, with their American “8th Army Air Force” arm-patches displayed for all to see!
At this stage of course it is hoped conditions will be at least as reasonable as they have become now, and watch will be kept on any changes between then and now, with information being passed to all who may buy tickets in advance.
